MINNEAPOLIS — The person who opened fire on a Catholic school Wednesday morning in Minneapolis has been identified, according to law enforcement sources.

KARE 11 investigative reporter A.J. Lagoe reported the shooter was 23-year-old Robin, formerly Robert, Westman. Law enforcement sources said Westman grew up in Richfield and that her mother was an employee at Annunciation School. Records show she retired from the school in 2021.

In wake of the shooting, a video depicting an apparent manifesto-style document was posted on YouTube from an account believed to be associated with Westman. Lagoe said officials are actively investigating the authenticity of the video, which was posted around 9 a.m., about 30 minutes after shots were fired.
