GETTYSBURG, Pa. — A Frederick Police Department officer charged with soliciting child sex materials was refused lower bail in a Pennsylvania court Wednesday.

Frederick Police Department Cpl. James Dodson appeared in an Adams County, Pa., district courthouse, and his attorney attempted to make the case that Dodson's $100,000 bail was too high.
