Tonya Hatosy-Stier stood in front of nearly 200 people Tuesday evening and shared stories of how the nonprofit Second Chances Garage has supported Frederick County residents who have faced addiction or homelessness.

After a moving presentation, Second Chances Garage — which has repaired more than 400 donated cars to provide affordable transportation to those who need it — was awarded $36,630 by members of ImpactClub Frederick.
