NEWPORT – The Jefferson-Erie Mason boys soccer team is making new coach Bobby Smith work this season.

Nearly every game the Bears do something that makes Smith do a deep five into the record books.

The latest example was a 1-1 tie against Riverview on Wednesday, Aug. 27.
