A Brantford man has been convicted of manslaughter for selling fentanyl-laced cocaine to a group of golfers five years ago.
Jeremy G. Folk sold the cocaine to one of the three golf buddies on June 13, 2020.

All three had a bad reaction to the drug at a Grey Street home and one of them – Robert (Rob) Davies, 44 – died as a result.
“(Folk) committed the unlawful act of trafficking in a controlled substance,” said Justice Joseph R. Henderson, making his ruling. “The unlawful act presented an objectively foreseeable risk of bodily harm and the unlawful act was a legal cause of Rob’s death.”
