The Chicago Bears made a series of roster moves on Wednesday, including claiming LB D’Marco Jackson and DB Jaylon Jones on waivers.
To clear room on the roster for the two players, the Bears released long-snapper Scott Daly and wide receiver Devin Duvernay, the team has announced.
Jackson, a fifth-round pick of the New Orleans Saints in the 2022 NFL draft, appeared in 27 games over two seasons in New Orleans, with a fumble recovery and 26 combined tackles in those two campaigns.
He was waived by the Saints during final roster cuts this week, and has now been added to the Bears’ 53-man roster.
