BBC News: Presenter tells colleagues to 'look interested'

Alexis Green, a senior weather presenter at the BBC, didn’t hold back when she caught her co-stars looking distracted during her segment.

On Wednesday’s instalment of South Today, presenters Allen Sinclair and sports reporter Fern Buckley handed over to Alexis to give viewers the latest weather forecast.

During the show, which recently saw Jon Kay bid farewell to his colleague at the broadcaster, Alexis was in the studio informing people on what to expect over the next few days.

She said: “There is going to be some thundery showers tomorrow, they’ll ease tomorrow night in places but could continue for some with further rain starting to push in as we head to the early hours of Friday morning.” READ MORE: Destination
