MESA, Ariz. — An employee of a juvenile rehab facility has been arrested by Mesa police for allegedly attempting to sell Adderall to a former patient, police officials said.
Ashley Lutton, 39, was arrested on Aug. 24 by Mesa police after text messages had been discovered showing Lutton communicating with a 17-year-old who had been discharged from a rehabilitation facility.
Police said the messages allegedly showed Lutton offering the teen Adderall and requesting fentanyl from the boy. The suspect later arrived at the boy's home and fled when confronted by the boy's mother, court records show.
Investigators reported finding packaged drugs and guns in the suspect's residence and car. Lutton is facing charges of child abuse and conducting drug sales to minors.
