The Minnesota Catholic church and school where two children were killed when a gunman opened fire Wednesday morning released a statement to its parish and school community, calling the incident an "impossible situation."
"No words can capture what we have gone through, what we are going through, and what we will go through in the coming days and weeks. But we will navigate this - together," the Annunciation Catholic School said in a statement to the school and parish community, signed by school Principal Matthew DeBoer and Pastor Father Dennis Zehren.
Annunciation Catholic School, located at 509 W. 54th St. on the south side of the city, was in an all-school Mass at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday when a gunman came up from the outside of the building and began firing a rifle through the church's w
