CABAZON, Calif. - On Wednesday, officials in Southern California provided new details about their decision to file murder charges against the parents of 7-month-old Emmanuel Haro.

The update comes the morning after the missing infant's parents , Jake and Rebecca Haro, made their first court appearance and were charged with murder by the Riverside County District Attorney's Office.

New details emerge:

Investigators believe baby Emmanuel is dead and that he was killed sometime between Aug. 5th, the last confirmed day he was alive, and the day he was reported missing on Aug. 14.
