As information was still emerging about the fatal shooting at a Catholic school in Minneapolis on Wednesday, President Donald Trump and leaders from across the country expressed their condolences and mourned the victims of the nation’s latest mass shooting targeting schoolchildren.

“I have been fully briefed on the tragic shooting in Minneapolis, Minnesota," Trump wrote on social media. "The FBI quickly responded and they are on the scene. The White House will continue to monitor this terrible situation. Please join me in praying for everyone involved!”
