EVERETT — One man died in a single-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning in Everett.

At 12:10 a.m. Wednesday, Collision Investigation Unit detectives responded to the crash in the 10900 Block of 4th Avenue W in unincorporated Everett.

Deputies observed the vehicle traveling northbound on 4th Avenue W from 128th Street SW at a high rate of speed and began pursuing the suspect, a Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office press release said.

The driver, 19, ran several red lights and almost collided with another car at an intersection of 4th Avenue W and 112th Street SW before losing control of the vehicle while avoiding cross traffic, the release said. The vehicle struck a parked car, a concrete wall and then a house before coming to a stop.
