A 57-year-old Kitchener man is facing charges in connection with several vehicles being keyed in downtown Kitchener.
Waterloo Regional Police say they are reviewing more reports of vehicles being keyed in the Stirling Avenue area of Kitchener and near Cambridge Memorial Hospital, and believe this incident is connected to that ongoing investigation.
In this instance, police received several reports on Aug. 21 about vehicles being deliberately keyed and arrested the man, linking him to two similar incidents dating back to July as well.
The man was charged with five counts of mischief under $5,000.
