Air Force will soon find out if a run that began with a walkthrough in a hotel parking lot can stretch into a new season.

The players who experienced it believe it will.

“We don’t have to find an identity,” fullback Dylan Carson said. “We just know this is Falcon football, this is how we’re going to play. I think all of our guys have really stuck to that message and that vision.

“I think those four games were a true peek into how we’re going to play this year.”

The Falcons were 1-7 and mired in a seven-game losing streak last year when, in the morning walkthrough at the Colorado Springs Marriott, the offensive coaches called eight fullback dives and then called it good.
