DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) -- Two groups are working together to help solve unsolved homicide cases in southwest Ohio.

In the Buckeye state, it's estimated that there are more than 5,000 unsolved homicides. Hope Dudley, CEO of UCanSpeakForMe, has been working with Crime Stoppers to try and solve some cases through a statewide initiative.

In an interview with WDTN.com, Dudley explained that she contacted different state government entities to see if she could have flyers displaying people whose homicide is still unsolved placed in prisons across the state.

After a multi-level approval process, Dudley received approval needed to place flyers across 28 Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction facilities across the state.
