President Donald Trump’s deployment of National Guard troops to Washington, D.C. has little support among Americans, a new poll found.

The Reuters/Ipsos poll, released Wednesday, found that just 38% of Americans support Trump’s decision to deploy the National Guard in the nation’s capital to combat crime in the city. Another 46% said they were opposed to Trump’s decision, while the rest of respondents said they were unsure.

The poll results showed a clear partisan divide, with 76% of Republicans supporting the troop deployment in D.C. compared to just 8% of Democrats saying the same.
