BLACKMAN TWP., MI — A Jackson man accused of killing his childhood friend in a drunken haze is heading to trial for murder

Julian Anthony Powell was bound over to circuit court for trial proceedings following the continuation of his preliminary examination Wednesday, Aug. 27, before Jackson County District Judge Robert Gaecke.
