FRYEBURG, Maine (WMTW) - Democratic Gov. Janet Mills says she is still deciding whether she will make a run for U.S. Senate in 2026, but that she is “seriously considering” it.
“I’m not in any rush to make a decision. I have a lot to do in my present-day job,” Mills said.
On Wednesday, at the reopening of the Fryeburg Shooting Range , she told reporters she will make a decision by mid-November.
“That election is a year from this coming November,” she said. “I don’t think people want to hear about a political campaign that’s more than a year away.”
