As of Wednesday, Katie Porter is the frontrunner in the California governor’s race. With more than a year until the general election, she is making the case to voters up and down the Golden State that she has the experience and temperament to go toe-to-toe with the Trump administration, while delivering for Californians on affordability and housing.
Porter discussed her priorities with NBC 7 political reporter Joey Safchik this week on Politically Speaking.

Safchik : Politico this week said you had a “commanding” lead. How does it feel hearing that?
Porter : Well, what I'm most focused on is talking to Californians and thinking about what we can do to solve California's problems. Those problems are challenging, and Donald Trump is making the
