MORA COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – The Mora County Board of Commissioners has made a County Disaster Declaration after flooding on August 26 and 27. They said that flooding has washed out multiple county roads and left residents stranded.
The Mora County Sheriff's Office is asking people to avoid the area near Highway 343 at milepost 7. The New Mexico Department of Transportation is working to fix the situation.
