ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Bernalillo County District Attorney announced Wednesday that a 17-year-old was sentenced to two years of probation in connection to three separate cases in 2024. The teen pled no contest to several felony charges.
According to officials, in July 2024, the teen was parked on a sidewalk. Albuquerque police found six guns, fentanyl, and more than $6,000 in cash. In September 2024, the teen fled a traffic stop, abandoned the vehicle, and fled on foot. Police found a puppy, cocaine, nearly 6,000 fentanyl pills, eight phones, and parts for ghost guns. Later that month, the teen crashed into a Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office vehicle after he was driving recklessly. They found two guns, fentanyl, and ammo in the vehicle.
