The latest data released by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of the United Kingdom shows that the country's commercial aviation sector reached record highs in the second quarter of this year. Indeed, the highest-ever total number of passengers passed through the nation's airports between April and June of 2025.

This figure was up by a factor of 3% year-on-year, with other aspects, such as cargo tonnage and the number of on-time flights, rising by even greater proportions.
