Teachers in one suburban school district are getting some help going into the new school year thanks to a big shopping spree.
The group of middle school teachers from Downers Grove Grade School District 58 received a surprise shopping spree to stock up on supplies with classes starting next week.
Around 60 teachers at O’Neill Middle School arrived at Office Depot in Downers Grove to cheer, applause, and appreciation.
The group was one of two surprised with a $10,000 donation to shop for back-to-school supplies on Wednesday afternoon.
