LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — Families in North Las Vegas said their dream celebrations hit a sudden halt when Magic Castle Banquet Hall closed their doors.
“You’re taking those memories away from my daughter, a daughter who’s not going to get anything back,” said Lynette Gaitan.
The property manager of Magic Castle tells FOX5 the owners of the event center were notified they were being evicted for non-payment on July 15, but many parents say they weren’t told.
“There was no notifications, no call, not an e-mail, not even a text, nothing from her,” said Gaitan.
It was supposed to be Gaitan’s daughter Kalea’s sweet 16 next February, she had already paid the venue more than $4,000. She fears she won’t see the money again.
