LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — After a network security incident led to the shutdown of all DMV offices across Nevada, an “open” sign hanging on a third-party DMV office may be a sign of relief for some.
Officials from the Nevada DMV posted an update to social media Tuesday afternoon, that DMV offices would remain closed “until further notice.” All cancelled appointments during the statewide network outage will be honored as walk-ins for a two-week period following reopening, officials say.
All in-person and online transactions, as well as kiosk transactions, remain temporarily unavailable, except for Rapid Registration and Turbo Titles.
