Katie passed away after battling stage 4 gastric adenocarcinoma, a rare form of stomach cancer. She was diagnosed earlier this year. Her family announced the news on Tuesday. Katie appeared several times on the hit reality show, including Tammy’s release from a weight-loss rehabilitation center in season five.
