If ever there were a time for the Milwaukee Brewers to recall their 2024 rallying cry of "Undaunted," maybe this is it.
Already dealing with injuries to several key players at a time when they really can least afford to, the Brewers took another blow on Wednesday, Aug. 27 when closer Trevor Megill was placed on the 15-day injured list with a right flexor strain.
"Someone's got to write the story of the craziness of this major-league season (for the Brewers)," said manager Pat Murphy. "I can't remember it. I'm just dying for somebody to tell me about it because I think of things and I'm like, geez.
"It's still with us – undaunted."
