The restoration of a historic Black Lake County school is set to wrap up, but the organization spearheading the effort said they are in trouble.

Rosenwald schools were set up across the segregated South during Jim Crow. Many have disappeared, but there is a national effort to preserve those remaining.

Since groundbreaking in April, work has progressed on the Okahumpka Rosenwald School at a rapid pace.

"It is completely ground up, we've taken everything apart, relevelled the entire structure, and put it all back together again," said Bob
