CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - U.S. Congressman Jim McGovern visited several farms in Western Massachusetts to engage with local farmers and discuss their current challenges.

McGovern, a member of the Agricultural Committee, conducts this annual tour to hear directly from farmers about their concerns, especially in light of recent federal policy changes affecting agricultural programs.

"I do this every year to learn firsthand from the farmers I represent," McGovern stated during his tour.
