San Francisco’s newest mayor has made it clear getting more tourists to return to the city by the bay has been among his top priorities.

Among the things Mayor Daniel Lurie has pushed is a high-profile concert series in Golden Gate Park, a relaxed process for getting events approved and a push to lock in convention business.

On Friday, the mayor got a report card of sorts on those efforts.
