An update has been issued after holidays faced disruption from Manchester Airport due to an air traffic strike planned for Thursday (August 28).
Air traffic controllers in Greece were originally planning a four-hour nationwide strike which could have impacted flights to major UK airports, including in London and Manchester.
The strike was set to halt all commercial flights at every Greek airport between 09:30 and 13:30 local time. The walkout, organised by ADEDY was part of a general public sector strike and would've affect all airports in the European country.
