A gunman opened fire through stained-glass windows during morning Mass at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis, killing two children, ages 8 and 10, and injuring 17 others, mostly children, police said. Authorities said the FBI is investigating the church–school attack as potential domestic terrorism and a hate crime targeting Catholics. Officials praised teachers and older students for protecting classmates as parents rushed to the scene.
