LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Lincoln man was arrested Tuesday in connection with the death of his 4-month-old daughter.

Ryan Greenwood, 36, was taken to the Lancaster County Jail on suspicion of child abuse resulting in death.

On Aug. 14, just before 5:30 a.m., officers responded to Greenwood’s apartment near 27th Street and Woods Boulevard.

He had called 911 to report his baby’s death.

LPD said the investigation found that the girl had injuries consistent with non-accidental trauma.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
