LAUGHLIN — With the goal of hearing directly from additional ratepayers before making the final determination on proposed water rate hikes in Laughlin, the Big Bend Water District has extended the public comment period through the end of August.
“Fifty people attended the workshops — some attended two or three — and we’ve had 100 visits to the website,” BBWD Outreach Manager Bronson Mack said at the Laughlin Town Advisory Board meeting earlier this month. “We’d really like to hear from more people, we need to know if they want to fund the new water tank.” ×
