Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice has accepted a six-game suspension to start the 2025 NFL season, according to reports.

Rice, 25, is suspended for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy after he and another driver caused a multi-vehicle crash in Dallas in March 2024. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail on July 17 after he previously pleaded guilty to two third-degree felony charges of collision involving serious bodily injury and racing on a highway causing bodily injury.

In addition, Rice will pay $115,000 to the victims for their medical expenses. The judge also allowed Rice to choose when he will serve his 30 days in jail.
