NORFOLK, Va. — Police are investigating after a body was found in the water in Norfolk Wednesday night.

Norfolk Police received a call around 7:45 p.m. that a body was found in the water on the 4400 block of Pretty Lake Avenue. Officers are investigating this as an undetermined death.

At this time, police say no foul play is suspected. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the official cause and manner of death.
