The Bremerton man arrested Tuesday evening Aug. 26 pulled a gun on an officer when encountered on Chico Way, subsequently triggering a chase and search throughout the Chico area .

A Kitsap County Sheriff's Office deputy initially approached Eric Gross, 55, just after 5 p.m. as he was walking south on Chico Way near Highway 3. According to KCSO spokesman Kevin McCarty, the deputy recognized Gross from previous interactions and was aware that he was facing multiple outstanding felony warrants.
