Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin insists his age is just a number.

On Monday , the Commanders signed McLaurin to a three-year, $97M extension. The move could be risky for Washington. The former Ohio State Buckeyes star turns 30 on Sept. 15, the point when WRs can drop off.

Former Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp (now with the Seattle Seahawks) hasn't looked the same since turning 30 on June 15, 2023. Over his past two seasons with the Rams, the Super LVI MVP failed to surpass 737 receiving yards.

McLaurin, though, believes he's an outlier.
