New York Giants quarterback Russell Wilson must continue building a rapport with star wide receiver Malik Nabers to protect his job.

In a Wednesday news conference , Nabers said he and Wilson have been clicking in practice.

"We've been on the same page a lot," the WR said. "That connection is going to keep growing. It can never be as great as we want it to be, but it's going to be as good as we hope it's going to be. But we continue to still get work, try to get those catches in and out. But the relationship has been going good."

Bonding with Nabers will be crucial for Wilson, who may be facing increased pressure from rookie QB Jaxson Dart.
