South Haven Area Emergency Services will hold its annual Labor Day weekend pancake breakfast this Sunday.
The pancake breakfast raises funds for SHAES each year, in 2023 paying for repairs to its firefighter memorial. This year’s event will raise funds for the department’s purchase of a digital sign to be located outside its Blue Star station.
Sunday’s breakfast will be from 7:30 to 11 a.m. at the Blue Star station, with SHAES volunteers serving up pancakes, eggs, sausages and drinks, all you can eat style. The cost for the breakfast will be by donation.
Also that morning, SHAES will showcase some newly acquired trucks used for responding to brush fires and recently purchased electric-powered extrication equipment.
Everyone’s invited.
