DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - After a devastating school shooting at a Catholic school in Minneapolis, the Davenport Diocese is praying “courage to confront evil with goodness.”
The Most Rev. Dennis G. Walsh Bishop released a statement on Wednesday, in part: “These events have left many feeling vulnerable, searching for comfort and reassurance, and seeking the hope that our faith inspires. In times of darkness, we are called as Christians to be bearers of light.”
Area politicians Mariannette Miller-Meeks and Eric Sorenson have also offered condolences:
