LOGAN COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Family, friends and the town of Chapmanville are missing Eric Bartram, who died Tuesday in an accident at the Marfork Processing Plant in Whitesville, West Virginia.

“One of the most dependable, lovable human beings you’d ever meet,” longtime friend, Benny Eplin said about Bartram, 41, of Chapmanville.

Others also remembered Bartram as a beloved man lost to their community.

“In a small community it always hits hard when you lose somebody that everybody knows,” said Robert Kuenzel, an attorney in Chapmanville. “I think it’s more sad when you lose a young person, and it’s even more sad when that young person is actively involved in the community, and that was Eric Bartram.”
