SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) —A breast cancer diagnosis can be scary for both individuals and their families. But thanks to philanthropic support, a health system is helping people get diagnosed and with their journey after diagnosis.
In April of 2023, Cassie Hajek was diagnosed with breast cancer.
"It was my primary care physician, Doctor Ruder, who found the mass on my exam. And then everything went very quickly," Imaginetics Research Director & Breast Cancer Survivor, Cassie Hajek said.
While it was a hectic time in her life, she is grateful for all Sanford Health offered her on her journey.
