WINNSBORO, Texas (KETK) -- The Winnsboro Police Department announced on Wednesday that a man was arrested following the burglary of a convenience store, three more suspects remain at large.

According to the Winnsboro Police Department, Alex Fowler, was detained as a suspect in a burglary that occurred at the Armadillo Convenience Store around 2 a.m.

The department was alerted to a business alarm at 400 West Broadway and when officers arrived, several suspects were spotted wearing all black with face coverings.

Suspects ran away from the scene before one of them was caught trying to pickup another suspect in a car. Fowler, the driver, was taken to a local jail and booked on similar warrants that were previously issued out of Parker County, Winnsboro PD said.
