GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Some athletes are born into their sport, but some fund it later in life. For Newberry’s Meadow Moses, the latter is true but the four-year starter has had the talent from day one.
“It just kind of came naturally to me my older sister played here and we’d always play in the yard so i wasn’t completely new to it but i think just having a good coach and a good atmosphere makes it easier to pick up on and training with varsity as a freshman makes you way faster and you learn the game faster.” said Moses.
Once a former gymnast, became a four-year letter winner on the court which speaks to her impact with a winning program which made a run to the state semifinal last season.
