The Bellevue Avenue Haunted House has become a beloved Halloween tradition in the Rutland community, blending thrills and chills with a purpose. Since 2016, this unique collaboration with the Mentor Connector has not only entertained local families but also served as a significant fundraising initiative.

The haunted house was born from a creative idea in 2003. When my sons decided they were too old for trick-or-treating, I sought a way to keep the Halloween spirit alive. I convinced my sons to transform our home into a haunted attraction, inviting friends, neighbors, and family for a spooky tour. The following year, we officially opened our home to the community for a one-night-only haunted walk-through on Halloween.
