Two men are due to appear at crown court to face charges over an investigation into the alleged rape of a girl in Nuneaton . The pair face a number of accusations following the reported incident in the town on July 22.
Ahmad Mulakhil, aged 23, has been accused of rape. Mohammad Kabir, who is also aged 23, has been accused of kidnap, strangulation and aiding and abetting rape of a girl under 13.
After being charged, both have already appeared at magistrates court. The pair were due to make their first appearance at Warwick Crown Court, on Tuesday (August 26) but the date was pushed back to today (August 28).
The charges they face are in connection with the alleged rape of a 12-year-old girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, in the Cheverel Street area of the town.
