Dinos rugby and soccer squads also in action this weekend as part of festivities to usher in the new school year.

The University of Calgary’s annual Kickoff celebration is set for Friday as the Dinos’ football team welcomes the reigning Hardy Cup-champion Regina Rams to campus.

Festivities are scheduled throughout the day, including an orientation tailgate outside McMahon Stadium at 3:30 p.m. Friday’s game is set to start at 5:30 p.m.

Head coach Ryan Sheahan enters his second season leading the Dinos and has plenty to be excited about this year.
