WHEELING — Wheeling Heritage has announced the four finalists who will present their business ideas at the next “‘Show of Hands” competition, which is set for next month.

The event, sponsored by Orrick, is set for 6-8 p.m. Sept. 24 at the Wheeling Artisan Center, 1400 Main St., Wheeling.

This high-energy crowdfunding event gives the community a direct way to support local entrepreneurs.

For just $5 at the door, attendees hear pitches from four business owners, vote for their favorite project, and play a direct role in deciding which business receives the funding raised that evening, along with contributions from community partners.

Now in its 11th year, Show of Hands has raised more than $150,000 since its inception to help launch and grow thriving local businesses.
