Two children, ages 8 and 10, are dead after a shooter opened fire at the Annunciation Catholic School during a morning Mass on the south side of Minneapolis. Seventeen others, including 14 children, were injured.

The suspected shooter has been identified as 23-year-old Robin Westman, who died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said.

Officials said the suspect — armed with a rife, shotgun and pistol — approached the side of the church and shot through the windows toward the children sitting in the pews during Mass.
